On July 6, 2025, the International Association for the Future STEM Workforce (IAFSW) in collaboration with Phra Nakhon Rajabhat University,Thailand Educational Development and Evaluation Tests (TEDET), and Concent Edu, organized the Creative Math Competition 2025 for students. The competition utilized the “Battle of the Numbers (B.O.N)” board game from South Korea for the All Thailand Competition round, held under the project “Uniting to Create Mathematically Talented Thai Children with STEAM.” The event took place at Meeting Rooms 1-4, Phutthawichalai Building, Phra Nakhon Rajabhat University.
The opening ceremony was honored by Professor Pleuang Kijratphorn, the university president, who presided over the event.
Ajarn Duangsorn Klongsara, Vice President of IAFSW, and Assistant Professor Dr. Atcharawan Chanpensri, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, presented medals and certificates to students who qualified for the “All Star Intelligent Contest” in October. This next round will determine the representatives who will compete in the “International Championship” against students from South Korea.
The competition was filled with fun and excitement. Children from various regions, even those who traveled long distances, were determined to win and used all the strategies they had practiced. Many of the participants said they wanted more activities like this because, in addition to being fun, it helped them practice thinking, analysis, and learning mathematics in a new, challenging, and creative way.
