On June 28-29, 2025, the International Association for the Future STEM Workforce (IAFSW), in collaboration with Udon Thani Rajabhat University, the Thailand Educational Development and Evaluation Tests (TEDET), and Concent Edu, organized the Creative Math Competition 2025 for students. The competition utilized the “Battle of the Numbers (B.O.N)” board game from South Korea for the All Thailand Competition round, held under the project “Uniting to Create Mathematically Talented Thai Children with STEAM.” The event took place on the 2nd floor of Building 17 at Udon Thani Rajabhat University.
The competition was honored by the presence of:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Chartchai Muangpathom, Vice President of Udon Thani Rajabhat University, who presided over the opening ceremony on June 28, 2025.
- Dr. Akarat Deenung, Vice President of Udon Thani Rajabhat University, who presided over the opening ceremony on June 29, 2025.
- Associate Professor Dr. Yupadee Panarat, a lecturer in the Mathematics program, who delivered the report.
In this event, medals and certificates were presented to students who qualified for the “All Star Intelligent Contest” in October. This next round will determine the representatives who will compete in the “International Championship” against students from South Korea.
The competition was filled with fun and excitement, from the grand competition rooms organized by the university to the children’s determination to use their practiced strategies to win. Teachers and parents cheered enthusiastically. Many participants said they wanted more activities like this in the future.
