Teacher Support Program
The International Association for the Future STEM Workforce (STEM Force) offers a comprehensive program to support teachers in their professional development and classroom implementation.
Our capacity building professional development programs promote collaboration among participants through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Teachers actively engage in pre-webinar and post-webinar tasks, allowing them to apply their learning directly in their schools and classrooms. Our experienced course leaders provide guidance, facilitation, and mentoring to school leadership and STEM leadership team PLCs, assisting them in developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating action plans. Similarly, they support STEM teacher PLCs in designing, implementing, reflecting on, reviewing, and evaluating engaging learning experiences. For detailed information on our Professional Development programs, please refer to the "Professional Development" dropdown menu on this website.
To further enrich the implementation of authentic, active, inquiry-based, problem-based, and project-based STEM learning experiences introduced in our Professional Development programs, STEM Force offers a wide range of learning and professional resources. These valuable resources empower teachers to foster student STEM skills and develop proficiency in digital technology. For detailed information on our resources, please explore the "Resources" dropdown menu on this website.
In addition to Professional Development courses and resources, STEM Force also supports and facilitates schools in effectively engaging with various STEM stakeholders, including government ministries, university STEM and Education faculties, STEM businesses and industries, parents, and the community. We offer inspiring programs aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These programs include STEM Clubs, STEM Community Clubs, STEM Camps, STEM Ambassadors (Mentors), STEM Internships in the STEM Workplace, STEM Research Internships in STEM Research laboratories, STEM Fairs, and STEM Conferences. These programs are supported by workshops that aid teachers in effective program planning and implementation, support stakeholders in their engagement, and facilitate collaborative partnerships. Supplementary resources such as guidebooks, classroom practice videos, and exemplary activities further assist teachers and stakeholders in program planning and preparation.
