The International Association for the Future STEM Workforce (STEM Force), by our STEM education specialists, will provide multiple half-year and full academic year courses in STEM education. These courses will guide educators step-by-step through the process of becoming master STEM teachers and model university education faculty. Participants will learn the foundations of STEM education, research findings, teaching strategies to engage students in STEM, science inquiry methods, effective questioning, engineering design, and authentic assessments. They will have the opportunity to design and implement STEM activities and engineering projects with their students. Throughout the courses, participants will form a Professional Learning Community (PLC) that meets regularly to share experiences and support each other as they learn how to teach integrated STEM.
